Description of exterior work at 620 W. LaSalle <br /> <br />1)Repair front porch: 1) replace broken or missing spindles with wood ones duplicated <br />from existing spindles. 2) Repair columns replacing wood where needed to match <br />existing. 3) repair floor, replacing wood slats where needed. 4) Replace non-original <br />steps with new steps and railings matching or complementary to existing porch railings. <br />2)Exterior brick: To be cleaned with a low-power pressure wash. Spot tuck pointing where <br />needed with a high-lime mortar (type O). <br />3)Entire house to be repainted. <br />4)Gutters to be removed. <br />5)Side Porch: replace or repair column, railings, spindles, and steps. To be done in the <br />same style as the front porch. <br />6)Repair all windows and existing storms. <br />7)Replicate existing shutters where missing on front of house.
