Commissioner Downs-Krostenko stressed that it is important to focus on the Standards and Guidelines <br />being made more user friendly and being distilled to a more readily used format. <br />Mr. Garner stated he believed they would be easier to use as they are straightforward. <br />Specialist Toering stated he looked forward to roleplaying examples for the public, because showing <br />how it is easier is important. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko proposed three meetings in January, with a meeting in February, so <br />that it is adopted in March. <br />Commissioner Stalheim asked how many meetings were to be held. <br />Mr. Garner said that originally there were to be five or six meetings, and that meetings will be held, but <br />figuring out the logistics of the meeting will be a bit more complicated. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko said that it is important that the public can respond electronically and <br />wondered whether the guidelines will be electronically available. <br />Administrator Feasel stated that they will be hosted online, but work will need to be done to explain that. <br />Commissioner Stalheim asked for a meeting to be scheduled. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko asked who would be in attendance, and if we could have it on Monday, <br />October 5"' via Microsoft Teams. <br />COMMISSIONER GELFMAN LEFT THE PROCEEDINGS AT 8:10PM. <br />VI. City Cemetery Signage <br />Commissioner Andrews asked about the signage happening at City Cemetery. <br />Specialist Toering explained that he had helped to record video of the history of City Cemetery and it <br />should be available online. <br />B. Navarre Cabin <br />Administrator Feasel explained that the Common Council upheld the decision of the Commission. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krostenko asked for clarification on one of the statements regarding the handling <br />of the removal of features from Leeper Park. <br />Legal Counsel Kennedy clarified that the Standards and Guidelines allowed for the removal of the Duck <br />Pond for specific reasons. <br />Commissioner Stalheim stated that the HPC decision had not been arbitrary and capricious. <br />COMMISSIONER GELFMAN RETURNED TO THE PROCEEDINGS AT 8:12PM. <br />IV. ADJOURNMENT <br />Commissioner Deegan made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Stalheim. <br />Five in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 5 — 0.
