1
Elicia Feasel
From:Josephine Broden <brodenjo7@gmail.com>
Sent:Tuesday, October 13, 2020 11:44 AM
To:Elicia Feasel; Adam Toering
Subject:201 & 199 W. North Shore Drive
Attachments:Jo's yaed.pdf
Dear Elicia and Adam:

Good morning. I hope you both are well. As a courtesy, I am forwarding landscaping design in this email and a key code
in the next email to your attention per the above referenced property.

With this design we hope to:

(1) Re‐place the tree count which we are obligated to do (and desire to do, environmentally) per earlier removals that
we effectuated due to maintenance issues (diseased trees or interference with wires, roofing or gutters).

(2) Re‐line the East side yard along the driveway with trees and bushes, leaving the green space largely intact (save for
screening of an earlier approved brick parking/turn‐around pad).

(3) Replace a removed tree and place trees in the side yard along the NE property line in order to create a more effective
screen of the alley. (Trees placed here will be in lieu of those that were removed along the Carriage House patio but
should not be re‐planted at that location due to utility wiring interference issues).

(4) Replace an earlier removed diseased tree in the front yard at the location of the entry sidewalk arc, west property
line.

(5) Establish & re‐establish foundation landscaping areas at the Main House, especially masking the variant brick
materials with ever‐green plantings.

(6) Rescue/re‐invigorate the rose garden at the front entry sidewalk arc.

(7) Enable easy access to the Main House should future owners decide to remove the aluminum siding, paint the original
wood siding, and restore other unique architectural details of the home.

Thank you for your consideration of this email and the next. Please feel free to call or comment at your earliest
convenience— now that the main and carriage house paint job is wrapping up, we hope to secure nursery items this
week to progress on this plan.

Regards,

Jo M.
