Perform work in accordance with SMACNA (ASMM) and CDA A4050 requirements and <br />standard details, except as otherwise indicated. <br />B. Fabricator and Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in sheet metal work with five <br />years of documented experience. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.1 SHEET MATERIALS <br />A. Pre -Finished Aluminum: ASTM B209 (ASTM B209M); 16 gage, 0.050 inch thick; plain finish <br />shop pre -coated with fluoropolymer coating. <br />1. Fluoropolymer Coating: High Performance Organic Finish, AAMA 2604; multiple coat, <br />thermally cured fluoropolymer finish system. <br />2. Color: As selected by Architect from manufacturer's full colors. <br />2.2 FABRICATION <br />A. Form sections true to shape, accurate in size, square, and free from distortion or defects. <br />B. Fabricate cleats of 22 ga. aluminum type sheet metal, minimum 12 inches wide, interlocking <br />with sheet. <br />C. Form pieces in longest possible lengths. <br />D. Hem exposed edges on underside 1/2 inch; miter and seam corners. <br />E. Form material with flat lock seams, except where otherwise indicated; at moving joints, use <br />sealed lapped, bayonet -type or interlocking hooked seams. <br />F. Fabricate corners from one piece with minimum 18 inch long legs; seam for rigidity, seal with <br />sealant. <br />G. Fabricate vertical faces with bottom edge formed outward 1/4 inch and hemmed to form drip. <br />2.3 ACCESSORIES <br />A. Fasteners: Stainless steel, with soft neoprene washers. <br />B. Underlayment: ASTM D226/D226M, organic roofing felt, Type I (No. 15). <br />C. Slip Sheet: Rosin sized building paper. <br />D. Primer: Zinc chromate type. <br />E.
