AN <br />WSTRUCTION,INC. <br />INVITATION TO BID <br />City of South Bend, IN — WWTP Clarifier 4-5, Tank 1-4 & Disinfection Improvements <br />Engineer — Arcadis US, Inc. <br />Bids — Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 @ 9:30am local time <br />Thieneman Construction, Inc. has purchased plans and proposals to bid as a prime contractor for <br />the project listed below. We are inviting quotations from MBE/WBE contractor/supplier firms <br />that might be interested in working with us on this project. <br />Scope of Work: <br />Secondary and disinfection treatment improvements generally including replacing Aeration Tanks No. 1-4 <br />{ass 2 influent gates and Aeration Tank No 4 drain gates, replacing aeration influent channel stop log, and <br />lengthening aeration tank effluent weirs; replacing Final Clarifiers No 4 and 5 circular clarifier equipment <br />and effluent troughs, structural rehabilitation, and replacing railing; expanding disinfection capacity by <br />adding evaporators and scrubber and replacing associated feed equipment, piping and appurtenances; <br />associated instrumentation and control and electrical modifications associated with the improvements and <br />miscellaneous demolition and site work. <br />Plans and Specifications are available for view at the office of Thieneman Construction, Inc. <br />between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
