South Bend Fire Department <br />One (1)Cmpt Height,72"HighLeft <br />32-03-0070 <br />COMPARTMENT HEIGHT <br />The left side body compartments shall be 72". <br />One (1)Cmpt Height,72"HighRight <br />32-03-1070 <br />COMPARTMENT HEIGHT <br />The right side body compartments shall be 72" high. <br />Eight (8)Roll-Up Drs - ROM Mfg <br />30-02-1150 <br />ROLL UP DOOR CONSTRUCTION <br />Therollupdoor(s)shallbefabricatedfromaluminumextrusionsandbemanufacturedand <br />assembled in the UnitedStates. <br />Thedoorslatsshallbedouble-wallextrusionswithdimensionsof1.366"highx.315"thick.The <br />exteriorsurfaceshallbeflatandtheinteriorsurfaceconcavetodeflectlooseequipmenttoprevent <br />thedoorfromjamming.Eachslatshallhaveinterlockingendshoestopreventtheslatfrommoving <br />sidetosideresultinginbindingofthedoor.Eachslatshallbeseparatedbyaco-extrudedPVCand <br />rubberinnersealtopreventmetaltometalcontactandminimizedirtandmoisturefromentering <br />thecompartment.Theinnersealshallnotbevisiblefromtheexteriortomaintainaclean <br />appearanceofdoor.Theslatsshallhaveinterlockingjointswithafoldinglockingflangetoprovide <br />security and prevent penetration by sharp objects. <br />Thetrackshallbeaone(1)piecealuminumassemblythathasanattachingflangeandfinishing <br />flangeincorporatedintothedesignthatfacilitatesinstallationandprovidesafinishedlooktothe <br />doorwithoutadditionaltrimorcaulking.Alowprofilesidesealshallbeutilizedtomaximize <br />usable compartment space. <br />Adripraildesignedtopreventwaterfromdrippingintothecompartmentshallbeprovided.The <br />driprailshallhaveabuiltinreplaceablenon-contactingsealtoeliminatescratchingofthesurface <br />of the door. <br />Bottomrailextrusionmusthavesmoothbacktopreventlooseequipment fromjammingthedoor <br />andhave “V”shapeddoublesealtopreventwater anddebrisfrom entering thecompartment.The <br />doorlatchsystemshallbeafullwidthone(1)pieceliftbarthatenablestheusertooperatewith <br />one hand. <br />The roll mechanism shall have aclip system that connects the curtain slats to the operator drum <br />to allow for easy tensionadjustment without tools.
