South Bend Fire Department <br />One (1)Thermostat,Heater, Pump Enc, w/Mnl Ovrrd on Pmp Pnl <br />26-50-1400 <br />PUMP HEATER SYSTEM THERMOSTAT <br />The pump heater system shall be equipped with athermostat system to automatically operate the <br />pump heater system.In addition, the system shallhave a manual overrideswitch on the pump <br />instrument panel. <br />One (1)HeatPan,Pump Enc, Midship, Slide Out Panel, Glvnzd Stl <br />26-50-3100 <br />PUMP ENCLOSURE HEAT PAN <br />A removablecasing constructed of galvanized steel, completely enclosingthe underside of the <br />pump compartment andheated by theengine exhaust shall be provided.The heat panassembly <br />shall include individual panels that can be easily removed from their mounting locations. The <br />two outer slide-out panels shall be bolted in place. <br />One (1)Gasket, Rubber, Intks & Dschgs <br />26-50-5100 <br />INTAKE / DISCHARGE RUBBER GASKET <br />All intakes, discharges and specified drain handles extending through the side pump panels shall <br />have a rubber grommet installed for heatretention. <br />One (1)Labels,Test Data andSafety Placards <br />26-55-1100 <br />LABELS <br />Safety,information,data,andinstructionlabelsforapparatusshallbeprovidedandinstalledatthe <br />operator's instrument panel. <br />The labels shall include rated capacities, pressureratings, and engine speeds as determined by the <br />certificationtests.Theno-loadgovernedspeedoftheengine,asstatedbytheengine <br />manufacturer, shall alsobe included. <br />The labels shall be provided with all information and be attached to the apparatus prior to <br />delivery. <br />One (1)Labels, Innovative Controls ColorCoded <br />26-55-2400 <br />COLOR CODED PUMP PANEL LABELINGAND NAMEPLATES <br />Dischargeandintakevalvecontrolsshallbecolorcodedincompliancetoguidelinesofapplicable <br />sections of NFPA standards. <br />Innovative Controls permanent type nameplatesand instruction panels shall be installed on the <br />pump panel for safe operation of the pumping equipment and controls. <br />10040-001909/02/20 <br />59 <br />PDF created with pdfFactory Pro trial version www.pdffactory.com <br /> <br />
