The <br />monitor shall include a Safe-Tak, spring loaded butterfly valve designed to rapidly reduce the <br />water flow by 90 percent in the event that contactwith the ground is lost. The device shall <br />include an integralcarrying handle, fourfolding stainless steel legs with replaceable tungsten <br />carbide spikesand an anchoring strap (attached toa protectivecap)designed to be stored inside <br />the waterway. The butterfly valve shall havea reset handle locatednear the inlet to allow the <br />water flow to be reestablished once the base is properly stabilized. The base shall allow an <br />optional pressure reliefvalve to be installed. <br />The base shall beconstructed from hardcoatanodized aluminum and havea red powder coat <br />interior and exterior finish.
