N/A <br />Commissioner Andrews stated she would support the railing looking more like the photographic <br />evidence from 1985. <br />Commissioner Downs-Krosteako expressed concern for the proposed railing and had concerns about the <br />implication of that railing with regards to the other projects on the property. <br />Commissioner Andrews asked for clarification on what was previously administratively approved. <br />Specialist Toering explained that there was a fire at this property and that in 2017 multiple windows <br />were replaced without COA with vinyl windows, that staff has worked with the property owner <br />to encourage him to replace those with aluminum -clad windows which he is now doing. Staff <br />continue to work with this property owner to bring about a better solution. <br />Administrator Feasel expressed concern that the historic railing may have had masonry pillars, that may <br />cause some complication with reconstruction. <br />Commissioner Stalheim stated that he thought they were probably masonry, but that the details of the <br />railing need to be replicated. <br />Commissioner Andrews made a motion to approve with staff recommendations COA <br />#2020-0313A to have the railing match the picture from 1985 as close as possible. <br />Seconded by Commissioner Deegan. <br />Six in favor, none opposed. <br />Vote: 6 - 0.
