and shall be waterproof. <br />All light bulbs shall be shock mounted to eliminate bulb failure. <br />All wiring shall be color coded, labeled every 12 inches, and run in <br />sealed terminal boxes. <br />Hydraulic <br />Vendor to supply information describing all components of the <br />/ NO <br />System: <br />system including capacities. Any vendor bidding an alternative <br />power source should include a list of all components, their function, <br />periodic maintenance required, and system advantages. Unit to <br />include a 7 to 9 GPM tool circuit. <br />Lights: <br />All lights to be LED type. In addition to all lights customarily <br />S NO <br />provided with this type of equipment, strobe lights are to be <br />mounted, one on the rear of debris body and one on cab guard in <br />front of debris body. Mirror mounted strobe lights, rear and front <br />bumper amber flasher, and mid body work lights to be included. A <br />12-volt handheld spotlight powered by chassis, with 25' retractable <br />cord to be included. An arrow board is to be mounted on the highest <br />point possible on the rear debris door. <br />Boom to beequipped with twospotlights for operation at night. <br />Maintenance: <br />All bearings, bushings, pivot points and boom to be greased by the <br />/NO <br />operator from ground level. <br />Toolboxes: <br />With the many different designs and setups, the City of South Bend <br />O <br />requests the bidder to include the toolboxes need to fit unit, that will <br />store the equipment needed to run and operate truck. Included with <br />these toolboxes shall be a heated cabinet tall enough to stand in and <br />to hang wet PPE. Any bidder shall include dimensions, mounting <br />positions, and any other information regarding the boxes for review <br />by the City of South Bend. <br />Mounting: <br />Unit bid will be mounted on an approved truck chassis at the factory <br />/NO <br />of the body manufacturer. <br />Parts & <br />Due to the type of work this equipment will perform, down time <br />/NO <br />Service: <br />must be kept to a minimum. Accordingly, parts and service must be <br />available as listed below: <br />Parts must be shipped within 48 hours of notification (excluding <br />weekends and holidays) or they are at no charge to the City. <br />Service and repair at the City's facilities from the manufacturer must <br />be available within twenty-four (24) hours of notification to the <br />manufacturer, excluding weekends and holidays. <br />All travel pick-up and delivery for any warranted repairs is the <br />vendor's responsibility and must be within twenty-four 24 hours of <br />
