This petition package includes: <br />i Department of Community Investment's summary report <br />i Petition <br />Statement of Benefits form <br />io Supporting information. <br />The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. The petitioner proposes to <br />build 10 affordable single-family homes with an approximate investment amount of $2,166,000. The <br />project meets the qualifications for a (5) five-year residential property tax abatement and a representative <br />from South Bend Mutual Homes 11, L.P. will be available to meet with the Committee on Monday, August <br />24, 2020. <br />The petitioner also requested a 3 -year extension of the existing residential tar abatement, which was <br />approved by the Common Council in July 2018, a designating resolution #4721-18. That project consisted <br />of building 14 affordable single-family homes in the area north of Lincoln Way West and west of Sherman <br />Street.
