1. Copper and copper alloys should be stored in a clean dry location away <br />from curing concrete and uncured masonry. Cover in a waterproof <br />material and vent to prevent condensation. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.1 MATERIALS AND GAUGES <br /> <br />A. Where sheet metal is required, and no material or gage is indicated on the <br />Drawings, provide the highest quality and gage commensurate with the <br />Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA). <br /> <br />2.2 COATED COPPER WALL FLASHING <br /> <br />A. <br />B. Acceptable manufacturers for the coated copper flashing: <br />1. Polytite: 1-800-776-0930. <br />2. Advanced Building Products: Ceprcote 1-800-252-2306 or equal <br />approved by the Architect / Engineer. <br /> <br />2.3 COOPER ROOF FLASHING <br /> <br />A. Provide minimum 20 oz. copper flashing as required by clay tile roofing <br />manufacturer. <br /> <br />2.4 NAILS, RIVETS, AND FASTENERS <br /> <br />A. Use only copper rivets, copper coated nails, and Architect / Engineer approved <br />washers in connection with the coated copper flashing. <br /> <br />2.5 OTHER MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Provide other materials, not specifically described but required for a complete <br />and proper installation, as selected by the Contractor subject to the approval of <br />the Architect / Engineer. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION: <br /> <br />3.1 SURFACE CONDITIONS <br /> <br />A. Examine the areas and conditions under which work of this Section will be <br />performed. Correct conditions detrimental to timely and proper completion of the <br />work.
