REGULAR MEETING August 10', 2020 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana met virtually in <br />the Microsoft Teams App on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was called to <br />order by Council President Karen L. White and the Invocation (Kyle Kuipers, Young Life Area <br />Director) was given. <br />City Clerk Dawn M. Jones announced, Good evening members of the public. McBride made a motion that the minutes of the July 27th, 2020 meeting <br />of the Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Sheila Niezgodski seconded the <br />motion which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />BILL NO. <br />20-25 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND <br />COMMON COUNCIL HONORING THE WORK <br />OF PASTOR DAVID SCHRADER OF GRACE <br />UNITED METHODIST CHURCH <br />Councilmember Jake Teshka, 2416 Chesire Drive, South Bend, IN, served as the presenter to this <br />bill. Councilmember Jake Teshka read the resolution into the record: A Resolution of the South <br />Bend Common Council honoring the work of Pastor David Schrader of Grace United Methodist <br />Church. Whereas, Pastor David Schrader was ordained in 1980 and has been in ministry for forty <br />(40) years; thirty-five (35) serving churches and five (5) serving as District Superintendent, and , <br />
