The alley terminates north of the property in question and is prone to standing <br />water (which was visible during the site visit). The property owner would like to see <br />more concerted maintenance of the alley by the City of South Bend, including <br />regrading, if possible. Staff encouraged the property owner to contact 311 and <br />Public Works to voice their frustrations. <br /> <br />The homeowner expressed concern regarding the property to the west (across the <br />rear alley), where multiple diseased/dying trees stand. The property owner <br />expressed concern that limbs from those trees had compromised the power lines of <br />the neighborhood.
