Approval <br />for a ‘minor’ project like this occurs in less than two business <br />days of receipt of an application (and more often than not, <br />within minutes of receipt). <br />2. “major” projects, often they are those that do not conform to <br />the applicable Standards & Guidelines. These are projects that <br />the Historic Preservation Commission reviews at their monthly <br />meeting. Examples include demolition, new construction (new <br />infill), major alterations or additions to existing structures, <br />replacing existing materials with a new, different material. <br /> <br />Although HPC Staff are available for in‐person consultations and phone <br />calls, we prefer to conduct as much business electronically as <br />possible.
