REGULAR MEETING <br />MAY 26, 2020 103 <br />AGENDA REVIEW MEETING <br />The Agenda Review Session of the Board of Public Works scheduled for May 21, 2020, was <br />cancelled. <br />REGULAR MEETING MAY 26, 2020 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:31 a.m. on Tuesday, May <br />26, 2020. The meeting was streamed live to the public with Board President Gary Gilot and <br />Board Members Liz Maradik, Therese Dorau, Joseph Molnar, and Jordan Gathers virtually <br />present. Also present was Attorney Clara McDaniels and Board Clerk Linda Martin. Mr. Gilot <br />opened the meeting. A roll call was taken by Ms. Dorau confirming the electronic presence of <br />Board Members Gary Gilot, Elizabeth Maradik, Therese Dorau, Joseph Molnar, and Jordan <br />Gathers. Mr. Gilot explained that each item to be voted on would be confirmed individually by <br />roll call. <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the <br />minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board held on May 12, 2020, were approved. <br />PUBLIC HEARING — NEW MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENT LICENSE <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the Board's Public Hearing concerning a new <br />Massage License application for Summer Spa, 3601 E. Jefferson Blvd. Mr. Gilot opened the <br />meeting at 9:33 a.m. He noted all favorable recommendations were received from staff on this <br />license application. There being no one else present wishing to address the Board concerning this <br />matter, the Public Hearing was closed at 9:34 a.m. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Maradik, seconded by Mr. Molnar and carried by roll call, the Massage License application was <br />approved. <br />OPENING AND AWARD OF BIDS — 2020 CONTRACTOR PAVING PROJECT — PROJECT <br />NO. 120-030 (LRSA, MVH) <br />This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed electronic bids for the above referenced <br />project. The Clerk tendered proof of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune, which <br />was found to be sufficient.
