AMENDMENT TO OWNER -ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 1 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner -Engineer Agreement: January 31, 2020 b. Owner: Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana C. Engineer: American Structurepoint, Inc. d. Project: Structural Inspection and Repair Design for Vault roof at 1201 Western Avenue, South Bend, Indiana 2. Description of Modifications: a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: Structural design and preparation of drawings in order to fill in the vault located at 1201 Western in accordance with Option A presented in our report dated March 20, 2020. b. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: Design of vault repair, associated calculations, and preparation of design drawings, herein designated Phase 200. C. The responsibilities of Owner are modified as follows: Review drawings and calculations submitted for review by the Engineer in a timely manner such that the scheduled dates noted in section e. are not impeded. d. For the Additional Services or the modifications to services set forth above, Owner shall pay Engineer the following additional or modified compensation: 1. An amount equal to Engineer's Direct Labor Costs times a factor of 1.0 for services of Engineer's employees engaged on the Project, plus reimbursable expenses, and Engineer's consultants' charges, if any. 2. The total Phase 200 compensation for services and reimbursable expenses is not to exceed $8000.00. e. The schedule for rendering services is modified as follows: 1. Repair drawings and calculations will be submitted for BOPW review by July 24, 2020.
