Western <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that Resolutions <br />No. 2432 and 2432 related to the purchase of <br />the Chevy World properties on the southwest <br />corner of Western and Lafayette. Resolution <br />No. 2432 sets the value of the property for <br />sending a purchase offer and Resolution <br />No. 2433 accepts a negotiated counter offer <br />from Gates. <br />Mr. Schalliol also showed a chart of what has <br />been spent to date on professional services <br />toward acquisition of the entire Coveleski <br />Park project. $184,000 has been spent on <br />professional services, after acquisition of <br />Chevy World and 332 W. Jefferson, $1.7M <br />will have been spent on property acquisition, <br />and $1.3M on other related activities. <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that staff has been <br />working with HOK Sport to develop <br />concepts for new entrances and new features <br />for the Cove; short, medium and long term <br />strategies trying to create a vision for the <br />park and the adjacent neighborhood; and <br />looking at how the park enters off of <br />Franklin, William and Monroe, as well as the <br />existing entrances off of South and Taylor <br />Streets. We anticipate having definitive steps <br />to move forward with by April. <br />
