The Commission <br />will take possession of the property <br />September 1, 2008; if, however, Gates has <br />not vacated the property by then, Gates will <br />become a tenant in the building until they <br />vacate. When they leave, they are to turn the <br />building over free of all automotive related <br />products. <br />Mr. Downes made a motion to approve <br />Resolution No. 2433 approving and <br />accepting a counter offer for the acquisition <br />of property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. Mr. Blake seconded the <br />motion. The motion carried on a vote of <br />three to one with Mr. Peczkowski opposed. <br />D. Airport Economic Development Area <br />(1) Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(related to acquisition of 2020 S. Main St) <br />Mr. Schalliol noted that 2020 S. Main is the <br />former EMI property.
