NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued... <br />of the Commission members holds a distributors <br />liquor permit. There are very specific laws as to <br />a distributor's ability to hold permits. Even <br />though the Commission member is not actively <br />involved in the sale of liquor at the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center or at Blackthorn Golf <br />Course, the law is such that it creates a conflict <br />and it would be illegal for the Commission to <br />hold the permit, having as one of its members, <br />someone who holds a distributors permit. <br />Ms. DeRose explained that another entity has <br />been located that is willing to hold the permits <br />and that the Redevelopment Commission will <br />need to approve the transfer of the permit for the <br />Blackthorn Golf Course to the Redevelopment <br />Authority and to amend the application for the <br />Morris Performing Arts Center liquor permit, so <br />that it would also be held by the Redevelopment <br />Authority. <br />Ms. DeRose stated that Resolution No. 1805 is to <br />transfer the Blackthorn liquor permit to the <br />Redevelopment Authority. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1805 <br />consenting to the transfer of the Blackthorn <br />liquor permit. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. 1805 <br />CONSENTING TO THE TRANSFER OF THE <br />BLACKTHORN LIQUOR PERMIT <br />b.
