South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - October 20, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. Commission approval requested for Lease <br />Agreement with Le Peep, Inc. of South Bend. <br />(Lease areas 3 & 4 in the Michigan St. Shops) <br />Mr. Giulioni reported that the Commission had <br />previously accepted Le Peep's proposal at its <br />September 15, 2000 meeting and now the lease <br />needs to be signed. He noted that area to be <br />leased is 2,703 sq. ft. and the term of the lease is <br />6 years and 6 month. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE LEASE <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the AGREEMENT WITH LE PEEP, INC. OF SOUTH <br />BEND (LEASE AREA 3 & 4 IN THE MICHIGAN <br />Commission approved the Lease Agreement with ST. SHOPS) <br />Le Peep, Inc. of South Bend. (Lease area 3 & 4 <br />in the Michigan St. Shops) <br />L Commission approval requested for <br />professional services in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. (Appraisal <br />services for 101 N. Michigan St., Parcel No. <br />C4 -41) <br />Mr. Giulioni explained that the South Bend <br />Downtown Partnership has identified the <br />property at 101 N. Michigan St., Parcel No. C4- <br />41 as a high priority redevelopment site for <br />downtown South Bend. He stated that the <br />Partnership recognized that the Commission will <br />need to act as the acquiring body in order to <br />make the project a reality. <br />Mr. Giulioni went on to say the property will <br />need to be appraised so that it may be added to <br />the South Bend Central Development Area <br />Acquisition List. He noted that the staff had <br />received two proposals for the work, one from <br />R.E. McCloskey & Associates, Inc. in the <br />amount of $4,500 and the other one from <br />Im <br />
