South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting - October 13, 2000 <br />3. CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the SUBMITTED OCTOBER 13, 2000, AND <br />ORDERED THE CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />October 13, 2000, and ordered the checks to <br />be released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />a. Staff report on acquisition of property in <br />the South Bend Central Development <br />Area. (Crowe Chizek Expansion <br />Acquisition, Part of Parcel C7 -1; Parcel A; <br />Parcel B; Parcel C; and Parts of Parcel <br />C10 -1; Parcel D) <br />Mr. Inks asked that the item be tabled. There THE ITEM WAS TABLED <br />was no objection and the item was tabled. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />revised Loan and Grant in connection with <br />the Affordable Loan Program for property <br />located at 730 E. Haney. (Jerry Newhouse) <br />Mr. Inks explained that during the <br />rehabilitation work being completed on the <br />home, it was discovered that the furnace was <br />in poor condition and needed replaced. He <br />stated that the amount of the original loan <br />was insufficient to cover the cost of the <br />furnace. Mr. Inks noted that the loan portion <br />would increase by $910.00, bringing the total <br />loan amount to $4,150.00, and the grant <br />portion would increase by $390.00 bringing <br />the total grant amount to $1,655.55. <br />-3- <br />
