South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - September 15, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />h. Commission approval requested for proposal <br />for professional services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. (New Irrigation <br />system, Blackthorn Golf Course) <br />Mr. Rock noted that the proposal is for an <br />extension of the current irrigation system, by <br />adding 12 new sprinkler heads for fairways #2, <br />#6, #7, and #14 for a fee of $9,885.00. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by <br />Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the proposal for <br />professional services in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. (New Irrigation system, <br />Blackthorn Golf Course) <br />i. Commission approval requested for <br />application for a Sunday Supplemental Sales - <br />Type 220 - License. (Morris Performing Arts <br />Center) <br />Ms. Greene explained that this is an application <br />for a Sunday Supplemental Sales Liquor License <br />for the Morris Performing Arts Center. She <br />noted that the Commission has been the applicant <br />on the City's behalf for other Liquor Licenses, <br />including Blackthorn and Century Center and <br />requested that the Commission be the applicant <br />for this request. <br />Mr. Hunt asked Ms. Greene to check out the <br />legal questions that had been previously <br />discussed in the Executive Session meeting. <br />Ms. Greene asked that the request be approved <br />subject to legal review. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the application for a <br />Sunday Supplemental Sales -Type 220 - License, <br />subject to a legal review.
