South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting - September 08, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued... <br />Mr. Jon Hunt reported that the City will be <br />receiving a $750,000 grant from the Department <br />of Commerce to help with the infrastructure <br />costs. He noted that the total project cost for <br />phase one will be approximately $3.4 million. <br />Mr. Hunt also noted that Crowe Chizek will <br />receive a direct training grant from the <br />Department of Commerce in the amount of <br />$35,000. <br />Mr. Caldwell expressed the Commission's <br />appreciation for the staffs hard work to put this <br />agreement together. It is important to the local <br />economy to keep such a good employer in <br />South Bend. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Mr. Caldwell and unanimously carried, the <br />APN Commission approved the Crowe Chizek <br />Redevelopment Agreement. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />There were no progress reports. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING <br />The next Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment <br />Commission is scheduled for September 15, 2000, at <br />10:00 a.m. <br />L' ._1 1 :►U 9► <br />There being no further business to come before the <br />Redevelopment Commission, Ms. Jones made a <br />motion that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Mr. Kahn seconded the motion and the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:40 a.m. <br />IL <br />Robert W.
