South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 18, 2000 <br />3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Caldwell, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the SUBMITTED AUGUST 18, 2000, AND ORDERED <br />THE CHECKS TO BE RELEASED <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />August 18, 2Q00, and ordered the checks to be <br />released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. THERE WERE NO COMMUNICATIONS <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1789 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction <br />for property located at 2215 South Olive <br />Street in the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area. (Jerry Zock) <br />Ms. Moran presented the Tax Abatement <br />Report. Mr. Jerry Zock intends to construct an <br />1100 sq. ft. home with a one car garage. The <br />cost of the home will be will be approximately <br />$50,000 and it will be built on an infill lot in the <br />City of South Bend. <br />Ms. Moran noted that the petitioner has been <br />granted one previous tax abatement. She also <br />reported that the property is properly zoned for <br />the proposed project and is located in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area, which is a <br />Tax Incremental Allocation Area. <br />-3- <br />
