1
Elicia Feasel
From:
Sent:Monday, July 6, 2020 3:58 PM
To:Elicia Feasel
Subject:Re: window project
I feel like it will be pretty much a waste of time to meet with the committee since Norrie confirmed that the windows can be
repaired. It is good to know that if we need to, we can add new storm windows to those that need it without going before
the committee. So yes, we would like to amend our application to repair them (with the option of possible new storm
windows). It is my understanding that this will qualify for Administrative Approval by the staff.

I know you can't recommend a company, but since you have worked with Norrie in the past, would you recommend him
and his company if you could? He seemed like a nice person and knowledgeable but I only met him once.

-----Original Message-----
From: Elicia Feasel <efeasel@southbendin.gov>
To: jvnewlands@aol.com <jvnewlands@aol.com>
Sent: Mon, Jul 6, 2020 3:40 pm
Subject: RE: window project
Yes, Norrie absolutely did follow up with me. His evaluation confirmed my observation (of photos) that the windows are in
repairable condition. If you choose to repair (and even to add new storm windows if you wanted to), your application can
be amended and will qualify for Administrative Approval by staff. If you would like to proceed with your original application
item to replace the windows, we can add it to the agenda. I will also call you (:

From:
Sent: Monday, July 6, 2020 2:52 PM
To: Elicia Feasel <efeasel@southbendin.gov>
Subject: Re: window project

I guess I am a little confused. I have met with Norrie Emmons from HG Chrisman Construction Company. He came out
and we talked. He said he called you with his assessment and shared some of the photos he took of the windows and
gave you his thoughts. He then said I would be hearing from you to complete your portion of the routine maintenance
approval. Did he talk to you? Is there a way we can talk over the phone? My cell number is 574-210-5828, or I can call
you if I have your phone number.

-----Original Message-----
From: Elicia Feasel <efeasel@southbendin.gov>
To: jvnewlands@aol.com <jvnewlands@aol.com>
Cc: Adam Toering <atoering@southbendin.gov>; Ross Van Overberghe <rvoverber@southbendin.gov>
Sent: Mon, Jul 6, 2020 12:53 pm
Subject: RE: window project
Good afternoon. Today is HPCs COA deadline day so I wanted to confirm that you would like for your project to be
included on the July 20 meeting agenda and that you’ve had a chance to consult with window repair professionals as the
Commission will most likely inquire. Please advise.
