South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - December 17, 1999 <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission adopted Resolution No. <br />1724 appropriating monies for the purpose <br />of defraying the expenses of certain local <br />public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2000, and ending <br />December 31, 2000, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, fixing <br />a time when the same shall take effect. <br />(Leighton Plaza Retail Space and Plaza) <br />h. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1726 of the <br />Redevelopment Commission <br />determining its intent to pay certain <br />expenses incurred for local public <br />improvements in or serving the Airport <br />Economic Development Area Allocation <br />Area No. 1 from the Airport Economic <br />Development Area Allocation Area No. <br />1 Special Fund. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Resolution No. <br />1726 states the Commission's intent to <br />appropriate $3,700,000 to pay expenses <br />incurred for local public improvements in <br />or serving the Airport Economic <br />Development Area and sets the public <br />hearing for January 7, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. <br />Upon a motion Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission adopted Resolution No. <br />1726 of the Commission determining its <br />intent to pay certain expenses incurred for <br />local public improvements in or serving <br />the Airport Economic Development Area <br />Allocation Area No. 1 from the Airport <br />-12- <br />COMMISSION ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 1724 <br />APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />DEFRAYING THE EXPENSES OF CERTAIN LOCAL <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2000, AND ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 2000, INCLUDING ALL <br />OUTSTANDING CLAIMS AND OBLIGATIONS, <br />FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL TAKE <br />EFFECT.
