NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />j. continued... <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the proposal <br />received from The Abonmarche Group <br />was in the amount of $1,500.00 to provide <br />surveying and subdivision services in the <br />U.S. 31 Industrial Park. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from The Abonmarche Group in the <br />amount of $1,500.00 for professional <br />services in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that a grant in the <br />amount of $200,000 was received from the <br />Environmental Protection Agency to conduct <br />a study of potential Brownfields along the <br />Commercial Corridors. She also stated that <br />Alex Koenig, Economic Development <br />Specialist, wrote a very nice application for <br />the pilot program. The $200,000 will be used <br />over two -years and involves heavy, public <br />participation. Redevelopment intends to use <br />the Steering Committees and the members <br />from the different Commercial Corridors as <br />part of the public participation process. <br />She also reported that the Portage Avenue <br />study is coming along.
