This is EXHIBIT K, consisting of 2 pages, referred to in and part of the Agreement between Owner and Engineer for Professional Services dated June 12, 2018. AMENDMENT TO OWNER -ENGINEER AGREEMENT Amendment No. 4 1. Background Data: a. Effective Date of Owner -Engineer Agreement: June 12, 2018 b. Owner: Board of Public Works, City of South Bend, Indiana C. Engineer: Black & Veatch Corporation d. Project: Hydraulic Modeling Training and Olive WTP Improvements Preliminary Engineering 2. Description of Modifications: a. Engineer shall perform or furnish the following Additional Services: Task 402 — Design and Contract Document Development The Engineer will prepare, develop and provide a signed and sealed design for a new lintel and doorjamb based a change in the overhead door size that resulted from the value engineering phase that occurred during bid negotiations. Task 406 — Construction Administration Additional responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted by the Owner or Contractor. The original scope included 10 RFIs. An additional 5 RFIs are expected to be submitted by the Contractor resulting in a total number of 15 RFIs. Task 408 — Shop Drawing and Submittal Review Engineer will review additional shop drawings and other data submitted by the Contractor as required by the Construction Contract Documents. The Engineer's review shall be general conformity to the Construction Contract Documents for the project and shall not relieve the Contractor of any of his contractural responsibilities. Such reviews shall not extend to means, methods, techniques, sequences, or procedures of construction or to safety precautions and programs incident thereto. The original scope included 30 submitals/shop drawings. Based on the Contractor's project submittal list an additional 37 submittals will require review resulting in a total of 67 submittals and resubmittals to be reviewed for the project.
