At the <br />meeting yesterday, it came apparent that <br />consideration of bicycles and pedestrians <br />should be considered with the planning efforts <br />of the commercial corridors. Mr. Burton made <br />the point in his presentation that it generated <br />much higher traffic, economic impact and <br />social benefit within commercial corridors. <br />She also stated that she and Mr. Sporleder <br />would like bicycles and pedestrians to be <br />considered in the commercial corridor <br />planning. Ms. Schwartz stated that the <br />Bicycle /Pedestrian Committee would be <br />happy to be a part of the commercial <br />corridor planning process. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that there are <br />committees dealing with public <br />improvements in the commercial <br />corridors, and she will ask the <br />Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee to suggest <br />names of individuals to sit on those <br />committees. <br />5.
