NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued.... <br />(approximately 5,570 sf.) presently <br />encumbered by the Parking Lot Lease. <br />Teachers Credit Union will also grant the <br />City of South Bend an easement <br />approximately eight feet along the <br />southern border of Lot 26 for the City's <br />firewall- offset line requirement needed for <br />the Leighton Plaza Parking facility. <br />Teachers Credit Union believes that the <br />release of its Leasehold Rights and the <br />grant of the easement will give the City <br />the flexibility to improve the Leighton <br />Plaza parking facility walkways. <br />In return for its release of its leasehold <br />interest in a portion of Lot 27, Teachers <br />Credit Union requests a five -year parking <br />arrangement for 16 vehicles in the <br />Leighton Plaza parking garage for a cost <br />of $22.00 per space per month. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that Teachers Credit <br />Union submitted a check in the amount of <br />$10.00 along with their bid. <br />The Commission directed the staff to <br />review the bid and return to the <br />Commission with a recommendation. <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in the <br />U.S. 31 Industrial Park.
