South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Special Meeting - January 8, 1999 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />k. Commission approval requested for <br />proposals for professional services in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the property <br />between Broadway, Lafayette, Franklin <br />and Stull Streets needs to be appraised. <br />The property is owned by Omega <br />Properties and used by Murdock <br />Construction. She also stated that there <br />have been some discussions with Calvin <br />Murdock regarding purchase of some of <br />that property. <br />Two proposals were received. The first <br />proposal is from Rick Pitts in the amount <br />of $3,000. The second proposal is from <br />Douglas Carpenter in the amount of <br />$1,300. The staff recommends accepting <br />both proposals. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposals <br />from Rick Pitts in the amount of $3,000 <br />and Douglas Carpenter in the amount of <br />$1,300 for professional services in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />1. Commission approval requested for <br />Certificate of Waiver in connection with <br />the Rental Rehab Loan Program for <br />property at 520 N. Notre Dame Avenue. <br />(R.
