South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - September 18, 1998 <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that closings took place <br />on September 9 for the purchase of the lot at <br />the corner of Monroe and Lafayette Streets, <br />which will be used by the Studebaker Museum <br />and the sale of a portion of the Dreisbach lot <br />for a new Social Security building. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the Leighton Plaza <br />parking garage precast is in place. There is <br />some additional work which needs to be <br />completed on the precast. <br />She also reported that the footings are being <br />poured for the new stagehouse at the Morris <br />Performing Arts Center. The steel is expected <br />to arrive in November 1998. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that the steel is up at The <br />Crescent in the Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />8. NEXT COMMISSION MEETING: <br />The next Regular Meeting of the <br />Redevelopment Commission is scheduled for <br />October 2, 1998, at 10:00 a.m. <br />9.
