NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />g. continued.... <br />John Stark, an Economic Development <br />Specialist, gave a presentation on the <br />South Gateway Commercial Corridor <br />Action Plan to the Commission. <br />h. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from The Abonmarche Group <br />for professional services in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the proposal <br />received was from The Abonmarche <br />Group to stake individual lots in the <br />southeast neighborhood. These lots have <br />been transferred to the Board of Public <br />Works, which will subsequently transfer <br />the lots to American Home Dreams, Inc. <br />for a new subdivision development. <br />The fee for this work is not -to- exceed <br />$5,000. The staff recommends accepting <br />the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from The Abonmarche Group in the <br />amount not -to- exceed $5,000 for <br />professional services in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area, subject to <br />confirmation that staking of these lots <br />were part of the Agreement when the lots <br />were transferred to the Board of Public <br />Works. <br />HAWPDATA \C0MMSN\090498.MIN -13- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />THE ABONMARCHE GROUP IN THE AMOUNT NOT - <br />TO- EXCEED $5,000 FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT AREA, <br />SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION THAT STAKING OF <br />THESE LOTS WERE PART OF THE AGREEMENT <br />WHEN THE LOTS WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />
