APPROVAL OF CLAIMS (CONT.) <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Claims submitted <br />July 17, 1998, and ordered the checks to be <br />released. <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked permission to add item 6.j <br />to the agenda. There was no objection and <br />item 6J. was added to the agenda. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Staff report on bid received for parking <br />garage retail space in the 100 block of S. <br />Michigan Street. <br />Amy Tweeten stated that Riswell, Inc. <br />proposes a five -year lease at $10.50 a sq ft. <br />Riswell, Inc. wants the southeast corner <br />retail space to develop a 1,530 sf Quizno's <br />Classic Subs restaurant in the 100 block of <br />S. Michigan Street. Riswell, Inc. has <br />provided the ten percent performance <br />guarantee for the first year's rent. Riswell, <br />Inc. proposes to invest $60,000 of its <br />personal income in tenant improvements. <br />Riswell, Inc. would commence its lease <br />and open for business within 45 days after <br />having access to the retail space.
