South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - April 17, 1998 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />h. continued... <br />within the time frame that is needed. <br />Ms. Schwartz made a motion to table item ITEM 6.1-1. WAS TABLED <br />6.h. until the next meeting. There was no <br />objection and item 6.h. was tabled. <br />i. Commission approval requested for use <br />of Redevelopment Commission leased <br />land in the Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />Mr. Riggs stated that a letter was received <br />from Larry Magliozzi, Assistant Director <br />of the Division of Planning and <br />Neighborhood Development, who is <br />representing the Field Development <br />Committee of the Junior Irish Soccer Club. <br />The Junior Irish Soccer Club is developing <br />a series of soccer fields located <br />immediately east of Mayflower Road and <br />adjacent to the Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />As part of a recent land sale transaction, it <br />was agreed with Holy Cross Corporation <br />that no parking along Mayflower Court <br />would be enforced and additional parking <br />facilities for the Junior High Irish Club <br />would be provided. <br />The soccer club has requested the use of <br />the southeast corner of the south half of <br />Blackthorn Corporate Park Minor #6, from <br />April 18, 1998 to August 31, 1998 to <br />provide off - street parking for the Junior <br />Irish Soccer Club's games and <br />tournaments. They will be required to <br />provide a Certificate of Insurance and sign <br />an Indemnification Agreement. <br />-17- <br />
