NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />E Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from Aquatic Weed Control <br />for professional services in the <br />Blackthorn Golf Course in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mr. Riggs stated that the proposal is for <br />the installation of a fountain at the 18th <br />fairway pond as part of the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course 1998 Capital Improvement <br />Plan. The cost for the work is $3,095 plus <br />installation costs. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Aquatic Weed Control for professional <br />services in the Blackthorn Golf Course in <br />the Airport Economic Development Area <br />for a fee of $3,095 plus installation costs. <br />g. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from J.F. New & Associates, <br />Inc. for professional services in <br />Blackthorn Golf Course in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mr. Riggs stated that the Commission <br />approved a Letter of Agreement from J.F. <br />New & Associates, Inc. last year but, it <br />was too late in the season to install the <br />wetland plantings. The installation of the <br />wetland plantings is part of the Blackthorn <br />Golf Course 1998 Capital Improvement <br />Plan. J.F. New & Associates, Inc. would <br />install wetland plantings in three ponds in <br />the Blackthorn Golf Course.
