NEW BUSINESS <br />a. continued.... <br />Mr. Donoho nominated Ms. Eugenia S. <br />Schwartz to serve as Secretary of the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br />Mr. Hunt seconded the nomination. There <br />were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Ms. Eugenia S. Schwartz <br />was elected Secretary for 1998. <br />b. Receipt of Bids and Bid Opening for <br />property in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. (Tax Key #18 -3042- <br />1612 - former Miller Paint property) <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that no bids were <br />received as of 10:00 a.m., today. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that she would like to <br />move items k., 1., and m. to the front of the <br />agenda. There was no objection to hearing <br />these items first. <br />k. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1590 approving an <br />application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Beeler & Brown, LLC and Davey, LLC) <br />Mike Beitzinger gave the staff report on this <br />project. <br />Beeler & Brown Properties LLC & Davey, <br />LLC is in the business of acquiring and <br />developing long term real estate holdings. <br />They are proposing to construct three new <br />buildings on the identified lots.
