NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />k. continued... <br />Anne Bruneel stated that the special <br />exception provision is already in place in the <br />tax abatement ordinance. She also stated <br />that this Ordinance allows the Council to <br />adopt this provision under special <br />exceptions. <br />The staff recommends adopting Resolution <br />No. 1590. <br />Ms. Schwartz commented that she attended <br />the Council Committee meeting regarding <br />this project and it was her understanding that <br />the Council is in favor of this method of <br />handling tax abatement for speculative <br />buildings. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 1590 <br />approving an application for real property <br />tax deduction for property located in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Beeler & Brown, LLC and Davey, LLC) <br />1.
