The new construction along Broadway Street encourages us and <br />we hope to see this project continue. <br />We understand that there are homes in our neighborhoods that are in very poor condition. We <br />never like to see houses deteriorate but realize the problems that they create. However, many fine <br />homes also exist in our neighborhood and we should preserve them. Most important, we recognize <br />the need for new housing. The opportunity to use vacant lots for new housing construction <br />encourages us to participate in this project. We know that there are many individuals and families <br />living in the neighborhood that would like to own a new or improved home. <br />The Southeast Neighborhood Housing Strategy is a good first step toward improving the <br />housing in our neighborhood. We are excited to learn of your invitation to incorporate our ideas into <br />your work. We have great confidence that our collaboration will produce fine results. <br />We are pleased to learn of this endeavor and hope that we can help to improve the housing <br />situation of our neighbors.
