EXTERIOR LIGHTING <br />Exterior lighting shall comply with Federal Department of Transportation, Federal Motor <br />Vehicle Safety Standards and National Fire Protection Association requirements in effect at <br />time of proposal. <br />Front headlights shall be rectangular type lights mounted in the front trim housing. <br />Headlights shall consist of two (2) lights mounted in the front trim on each side of the cab <br />grill. The outside light on each side shall contain a HID low and high beam. The inside light <br />on each side shall contain a halogen high beam light only. <br />YE /NO <br />The following LED lighting package shall provide long life lights for a lower cost of <br />ownership: <br />• One (1) Whelen 600 series LED combination directional/marker light. <br />• Three (3) LED identification lamps shall be installed in the center of the cab on the (E)NO <br />trim above the windshield. <br />• Four (4) LED clearance lamp shall be installed, one (1) each side, facing forward and <br />one (1) each side, facing the side on the trim above the windshield. <br />WARNING LIGHTS <br />Light Bars <br />A Federal Signal Navigator 73" will be mounted on the cab roof facing to Zone A. There <br />will be 12 LED light heads mounted in the bar of which four (4) lights will flash in the <br />warning mode and will also be able to be turned on as a scene/take-dawn light. <br />Rear Upper Wareing <br />Two Federal Signal Fire Ray LED warning lights will be mounted at the upper rear of the <br />vehicle. These lights shall be split red on top for warning lights and white on the bottom for <br />scene lighting. <br />Lower Level Warning <br />Four Federal Signal Model Quadra Flare warning lights will be mounted on the front of the <br />cab, one light over each of the headlights Zone A. <br />Two Federal Signal Fire Ray Red LED lights will be mounted on each side of the vehicle. <br />One light mounted on the front bumper and two down the sides of the vehicle not to exceed <br />25 feet between each light. <br />Two Federal Signal Quadra Flare LED lights will be mounted on the rear lower level of the <br />vehicle facing to Zone C. <br />Two Federal Signal Micro Pulse LED warning light will be at to the rear of the vehicle using Y /NO <br />one chrome bezel for each light. One will be mounted under each rear beacon facing Zone C. <br />Chrome Trim. <br />All lights shall be controlled by lighted switches in the cab on the switch panel. <br />The inside lights may be load managed if colored or disabled ifwhite, when the parking ES O <br />brake is set. <br />MARKER LIGHTS <br />There shall be one (1) pair of amber and red, Britax Model 427.200 LED marker lights with <br />rubber arm, located one each side rear body corners.
