The sides will not form any portion of the fender compartments. <br />Upper and rear edges of side panels will have a double break for rigidity. <br />The upper inside area of the beavertails will be covered with brushed stainless steel to prevent damage <br />to painted surface when hose is removed. <br />Flooring of the hose bed will be removable aluminum grating with the top surface corrugated to aid in <br />hose aeration. The grating slats wjllbe .50" x 4.50" with spacing between slats for hose ventilation. <br />Hose bed will accommodate 1000' of 5" 200' of 1.75" 300' of 2.00" 600' of 2.50". <br />HOSE BED DIVIDER <br />Four (4) adjustable hosebed dividers will be furnished for separating hose. <br />Each divider will be constructed of a .125" brushed aluminum sheet fitted and fastened into a slotted, <br />1.50" diameter radiused extrusion along the top, bottom, and rear edge. <br />Divider will be fully adjustable by sliding in tracks, located at the front and rear of the hose bed. <br />Divider will be held in place by tightening bolts, at each end. <br />Acorn nuts will be installed on all bolts in the hose bed which have exposed threads. <br />A cross -divider will be provided just behind the fill tower. The divider will be bolted to the side sheet. <br />HOSEBED HOSE RESTRAINT <br />A red hosebed cover will be furnished with jacket snaps fasteners at the front and jacket snap fasteners <br />on the sides. <br />At the rear of the vinyl top cover will be a 2.00" red nylon webbing with a 1.50" x 4.00" box pattern. The <br />webbing will be connected at the top with a seat belt buckle on each side with a red tether on each seat <br />belt buckle. <br />The bottom of the webbing will loop through the footman loops located on the rear body sheet below <br />the hosebed. The straps will be connected at the bottom with 2.00" side release fasteners. <br />RUNNING BOARDS <br />Running boards will not be required on rear mount pumper. <br />TAILBOARD <br />The tailboard will also be constructed of .125" bright aluminum treadplate and spaced .50" from the <br />body, as well as supported by a structural steel assembly. <br />The tailboard area will be 18.00" deep and full width of the body. <br />The exterior side will be flanged down and in for increased rigidity of tailboard structure. <br />REAR WALL, BODY MATERIAL, PUC <br />The rear wall will be smooth and the same material as the body. <br />56 of 89 <br />
