■ Silence Alarms - All alarms are silenced <br />• Timer Screen <br />• HVAC (if equipped) <br />• Tire Information (if equipped) <br />• Ascendant Set Up Confirmation (if equipped) <br />Button functions and button labels may change with each screen. <br />COLLISION MITIGATION <br />There will be a HAAS Alert®, Model HA5 Responder -to -Vehicle (R2V) collision avoidance system <br />provided on the apparatus. The HA5 cellular transponder module will be installed behind the cab <br />windshield, as high and near to the center as practical, to allow clear visibility to the sky. The module <br />dimensions are 5.40" long x 2.70" wide x 1.30" high, and operating temperature range is -40 degree C <br />to 85 degree C. <br />The transponder will be connected to the vehicle's emergency master circuit and battery direct power <br />and ground. <br />While responding with emergency lights on, the HA5 transponder sends alert messages via cellular <br />network to motorists in the vicinity of the responding truck that are equipped with the WAZE app. <br />While on scene with emergency lights on, the HA5 transponder sends road hazard alerts to motorists in <br />the vicinity of the truck that are equipped with the WAZE app. <br />The HA5 Responder -to -Vehicle (R2V) collision avoidance system will include the transponder and a 5 <br />year cellular plan subscription. <br />Activation of the HAAS Alert system requires a representative of the customer to accept the End User <br />License Agreement (EULA) via an on-line portal. <br />VEHICLE DATA RECORDER <br />There will be a vehicle data recorder (VDR) capable of reading and storing vehicle information <br />provided. <br />The information stored on the VDR can be downloaded through a USB port mounted in a convenient <br />location determined by cab model. A USB cable can be used to connect the VDR to a laptop to retrieve <br />required information. The program to download the information from the VDR will be available to <br />download on-line. <br />The vehicle data recorder will be capable of recording the following data via hardwired and/or CAN <br />inputs: <br />• Vehicle Speed - MPH <br />• Acceleration - MPH/sec <br />• Deceleration - MPH/sec <br />• Engine Speed - RPM <br />• Engine Throttle Position - % of Full Throttle <br />41 of 89 <br />
