Each stripe shall be 6.00" in width. <br />This shall meet the requirements of NFPA 1901, 2009 edition, which states that 50% of the <br />rear surface shall be covered with chevron striping. <br />REFLECTIVE STRIPE <br />A Black outline shall be applied on the top and the bottom of the reflective band. There shall <br />be one (1) set of outline stripes required. <br />STRIPE, CABDOORS <br />A white reflective stripe shall be provided across the interior of each cab door. The stripe <br />shall be located approximately 1.00" up from the bottom, on the door panel. <br />This stripe shall meet the NFPA 1901 requirement. <br />STRIPE <br />There shall be a genuine gold leaf stripeprovided on each side of the body, over the fender. <br />FACE STRIPE <br />There shall be a genuine gold leaf stripe across the face of the cab. <br />STRIPE <br />There shall be a genuine gold leaf stripe on each side of the cab, low and over the fender. <br />BETTERING 1&0 <br />The lettering shall be totally encapsulated between two (2) layers of clear vinyl. <br />Forty-one (41) to sixty (60) genuine gold leaf lettering, 3.00" high, with outline and shade <br />shall be provided. <br />There shall be reflective lettering white, 3.00" high, with highlight and shade provided. <br />shall be 11 letters provided <br />There shall be reflective lettering, 5.00" high, with highlight and shade provided. There shall <br />be eight (8) letters provided. <br />LETTERING, REFLECTIVE, "DIAL 911" <br />A pair of 10.00" high white, reflective decal "Dial 911 " shall be installed at inset on body <br />compartment doors right rear and left rear. <br />LETTERING <br />There shall be white reflective lettering 10.00" high up to fifteen (15) total designating unit <br />numbers front, back, roof, and sides. <br />INSTALLATION <br />There shall be one (1) pair of decals furnished by the fire department and applied by the <br />apparatus manufacturer. <br />PROOFING/UNDERCOATING <br />The rust proofing material shall be a transparent coating of an organic based corrosion <br />inhibitor for long-term protection against corrosion. <br />76 <br />
