Commissioenr Gelfman asked for clarification of the Landmark ordinance. Staff explained that multiple parcels were included
in the Landmark ordinance, and that the Martins own one parcel, approximately 10 acres.
Commissioner Brazinsky asked for clarification as to the location of the other farm structures. Staff indicated on aerial imagery
and photographs where the structures are, and where the proposed structure would be constructed.
Commissioner Molnar commented on how this may actually increase the desirability of the property, as it will add a structure
that can be utilized actively.
Ms. Martin corroborated this sentiment, stating that adding historic structures take a lot of work to maintain, and that the
existing barn was a cow barn.
Commissioner Hertel asked if this would compromise the Outstanding rating of the property.
Administrator Feasel responded in the negative, that nothing was being taken away from the original structures on the site. The
new structure would be a non-contributing structure on the property, and it could be reversed or removed. It is not
compromising any of the structures.
Ms. Martin stated that that was why they placed the structure to the west.
Commissioner Hertel stated that she was happy to see the structure shielded from the main farmstead by the line of vegetation .
Mr. Martin joked that they didn’t want to see it, either.
Commission discussion occurred on the proposed windows, resulting in the position that 6-over-6 aluminum-clad windows were
preferred.

PUBLIC DISCUSSION: N/A

Commissioner Brazinsky made a motion to approve COA#2019-0628A with aluminum
clad-wood windows (six-over-six).
