Motion to approve the minutes passes. <br />B. STAFF REPORTS <br />i. Administrative Approvals <br />1. Commissioner Ponder asked for clarification on COA #2019-0612 for <br />410 Manitou. <br />Administrator Feasel explained the approval of the windows for this <br />project. <br />C. COMMITTE REPORTS <br />i. Disposition of Historic Preservation Assets <br />1. Administrator Feasel explained that ‘Disposition of Historic <br />Preservation Assets’ and ‘Standards Updates’ on each meeting agenda, <br />as staff is actively working on these projects. <br />2. Administrator Feasel updated the Commissioners as to the progress <br />since the last meeting, and that the project is still on track for July / <br />August. <br />ii. Standards Update <br />1. Administrator Feasel explained that two grants have been awarded to <br />HPC to facilitate the Standards and Guidelines update process. <br />2. Administrator Feasel explained the involved parties (HPC, Notre <br />Dame’s Architecture program, and consultant Kurt Garner) will assist in <br />this process. <br />3. Administrator Feasel introduced Kurt Garner, who may be helping staff <br />navigate this process. <br />4. Administrator Feasel explained that this process needs to be a part of <br />the overall branding effort of the City of South Bend Planning team as <br />they update the Zoning Ordinance. <br />5. Administrator Feasel explained that the final document needs to be <br />user-friendly and easy to understand. <br />6. Commissioner Gelfman stated that new appointees to the Commission <br />will be assigned to Committees, like the Standards Update.
