Written by
Adam Toering
Historic Preservation Specialist •
Approved by
Elicia Feasel
Historic Preservation Administrator
Commissioner Hertel made a motion to deny COA #2018-0621C. Seconded by Commissioner
Gordon.
Six in favor, none opposed.
Legal Counsel Kennedy clarified that in motions for denial, Commissioners will explain
their vote with supporting statements. Roll was called:
Commissioner Fisher: I vote in the affirmative to deny this application —without changes to
this application, it doesn't seem that we can [approve this project].
Commissioner Canada: I vote to deny this application because lack of information,
elevations and design to be able to approve it.
Commissioner Hertel: I vote to deny this application, because this is the same packet that
came before us last month and the homeowner offered to come back to us with different •
elevations as well as options; and since there is no homeowner present, I see it is impossible to
approve any changes to the present boathouse.
Commissioner Gelfman: I vote to deny this application, due to the fact that we have had the
same packet from last month, no changes have been made, and nothing has been presented
that shows any different materials and we have no elevations.
Commissioner Gordon: I vote to deny this application, I would just reiterate everything that
has been said, all the same reasons, there is no way that you could possibly approve this.
Commissioner Molnar: I vote to deny this application, due to the reasons previously stated
and not working with the Commission. It seems like we had an agreement and nothing came
out of it.
Vote: 6 — 0 Motion to deny COA#2018-0621C is approved. Application is denied.
COMMISSIONER BONHAM ARRIVED AT 5:37PM.
2. 630 W Washington COA# 2018-0926C #8078-1990 Local Landmark South
Bend / Fagade Easement
Representation: Thomas Erlandson, 630 W Washington
STAFF REPORT
CONCERNING APPLICATION FOR A
fl
