• <br />• <br />• <br />for snow removal. Replace spalled brick with compatible brick and tuck -point other sections of the <br />wall as required. We anticipate about 8% to 12% brick replacement at this fagade and about 20% <br />to 30% tuck -pointing. Replace damaged brick with compatible brick and tuck -point as required. <br />We anticipate minor brick replacement at this facade and about 20% to 30% tuck -pointing. The <br />window sills are limestone in fair condition. Remove all extraneous metal anchors and fill or repair <br />holes. Provide window repair, replace broken 'glass and weather-stripping rehabilitation. <br />West Facade (image below): This is the rear fagade of the building. The fagade consists of brick <br />masonry ina running bond pattern with header courses every 711, row, with arched brick lintels over <br />the double hung window openings at the basement, 1st, 2nd 3rd, 0, and 5th floors. The upper wall <br />has a brick parapet. capped With a terra cotta "bell' coping and a. facetted terra cotta coping. The <br />coping joints appear to be deteriorated and will need to be repointed With a flexible soft joint, or <br />replaced with a metal coping for water control. The brick in fair shape and will require limited tuck <br />pointing. We anticipate about 4% to 6% brick replacement at this fagade and about 20% to 30% <br />tuck -pointing. The window sills are limestone in fair condition. Remove all vegetative growth (vines <br />are presently actively growing on a portion of the lower west wall). Remove all extraneous metal <br />anchors and. fill Or repair holes. Provide. Window repair, replace broken glass and weather-stripping <br />rehabilitation, Note thatthis fagade does show signs of efflorescence.
