STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this application with conditions. Staff recommends approval of both the <br />casement window and the glass block window replacement portions of this application, as the former is in <br />keeping with the character of the house (and replaces earlier replacement windows), and the latter is only <br />explicitly prohibited when used in new construction, and they are relatively obscured. Of the three glass . <br />block windows, Staff would prefer that a similar window to the other casements be installed (with frosted <br />panes). Staff recommends that the entry and storm door proposal be revisited and revised, with <br />preference given to refurbishing the existing material in lieu of replacement.
