Lauber Building - Local Landmark
Dear Elicia:
I have reviewed the referenced Ordinance (i.e., Ordinance 7591-86). It states that the "PROPERTY"
is established as an Historic Landmark. It appears the Ordinance defines "PROPERTY" as "the
improvements located upon said land". I interpret that to mean only the improvements that existed on
the land were given historic landmark status, not the land itself. Given that the address is not located
in a Historic Preservation District, I think only the existing buildings would undergo review, if
changes to those existing buildings are proposed.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
bds
Sincerely,
Brett R.
